Jim lives and breathes Surf lifesaving, a Surf and Stillwater paddler that has reached the pinnacle in both areas representing Australia in the Olympic Games for Kayaking and an Australian Gold medallist in Surf. Jim will be leading the brand from the front just like he paddles. His passion, enthusiasm and extensive knowledge will flow into the brand, giving you the competitor the edge. Jim is an active member of North Bondi Surf Club and is the owner and operator of the paddling technique and coaching site mykayakcoach.com
Gavin is one of Australia’s leading boat builders and is widely respected within the Shipwright industry. Coupled with his long time participation in Surf Lifesaving it was only natural that his Shipwright business, Slipstream Marine, would move into Surf Craft manufacture. Gavin’s passion for a perfect product has been instrumental in guiding Slipstream Surf to the fore of Surf Craft design and production techniques. Gavin is a member of North Bondi SLSC and is very mindful of what both athletes and clubs need to achieve before they hit the water.
